Economic and Equity Party president Chilufya Tayali says the National Dialogue Forum is a progressive law which should be supported especially by opposition political parties.
Mr. Tayali says his political party will participate in the National Dialogue Forum whose sittings start tomorrow and calls on parties intending to boycott the sittings not to do so.
Mr. Tayali says the forum allows stakeholders to sit down to discuss issues affecting political parties and democracy and therefore, people should look at the forum as a law that will benefit them.
He says the forum gives an opportunity to scrutinize constitutional lacunas especially around the Public Order Act and electoral reforms as current way of holding elections favors the ruling party.
