Legalize marijuana cultivation – Luangeni law maker

Luangeni Member of Parliament Charles Zulu has reiterated his call for government to legalize the cultivation of Marijuana in the country.
And the Luangeni lawmaker says the country is currently broke due to excessive borrowing, which has impacted on the nation’s economy.
Mr. Zulu says there is need for the country to bring up new business ideas that will help settling its debt.
He says government should allow for the cultivation of marijuana, as this has potential to earn the nation a lot in foreign exchange.
And Mr. Zulu has bemoaned the current state of the nation’s economy, which he says has impacted negatively on development, while poverty levels among Zambians have continued to rise, despite the country being endowed with natural resources.
