Disability Rights Watch national coordinator Bruce Chooma has called on government to quicken the implementation of the single registry system of providing social protection intervention across the country.
Mr. Chooma says if the implementation is quickened it will see to it more the people living with disabilities are begin to have social protection cover beyond the social cash transfer.
He says the social cash transfer has not been very comprehensive in helping out people with disabilities as it looks at the gravity of one’s disability.
Mr. Chooma says with the single registry client will be able to be accessed according to their needs and not the gravity of their disability. ffffffff
