UPND urged to find better ways of resolving in-house wrangles

Political Analyst Alex Ng’oma has urged the opposition UPND to find better ways of resolving intra-party wrangles to avoid destabilizing the party.
Dr. Ng’oma feels that any instability in the opposition party could jeopardize their chances of succeeding in the 2021 general elections.
He says that UPND is the only largest opposition political party which is capable of providing credible checks and balances to the PF government.
The United Party for National Development (UPND) passed a vote of no confidence against its Vice President, Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba for gross misconduct.
Dr. Mwamba has since been suspended and given seven days in which to exculpate himself before punitive measures are taken against him, but he will on Tuesday hold a media briefing to give a position on his indefinite suspension from the UPND party activities.
