NCC to decentralize construction school

The National Council for Construction says it will soon decentralize the construction school in order to bridge skills gaps among Zambian contractors.
Council executive director Matthews Ngulube observes that distance to the institutions in Lusaka, Chooma and Kitwe has hindered many people from accessing the training.
Mr Ngulube says the council has also introduced on site training for contractors in a bid to improve the skills.
He is optimistic the exercise will reduce that the numerous complaints about Zambian contractors not performing to the expectations of the people.
