Exodus Boxing Academy is scouting for K82,800 which will  enable it successfully host the “Kamukole ” boxing tournament in April.

Exodus Boxing Academy communications director Vernon Mwaanga Jr said at a media briefing that K165,970 had been raised from the total budget of K248 770.

Mwaanga has appealed to sponsors to come on board and support the academy.

He says the participation of the corporate world was key to the development of the sport.

Mwaanga says the academy was more than ready to produce world class boxers, adding that this can only be done with the participation of the corporate world.

He was however confident that the deficit would be met.

Meanwhile , Anthony Mwamba declared all his boxers ready for the tournament to be held at Government Complex in Lusaka on 6th April. He says people should look out for the Kamukole punch which he said would shock boxing fans.
